介

Balmukunda Regmi is a professor of pharmacy at Tribhuvan University. He has worked as a member of Academic Council of Tribhuvan University, two terms chairman of Anatomy, Physiology, Clinical Pharmacology, and Pharmacy Subject Committee, two terms Head of Pharmacy Department at TU Institute of Medicine. He is a member of Asian Network for Research on Antidiabetic Plants. From 2000 to 2003, he was a working committee member of Drug Information Network of Nepal. From 2002 to 2003, he was Editor of Drug and Therapeutics Letter. From 2002 to 2004, he was Editor of Journal of Nepal Pharmaceutical Association. In 2013, he was Organizing Secretary of the 7th International Seminar on Prevention and Management of Diabetes. He has published many contemporary articles in Nepali, English and Chinese language national dailies. He is a guest Professor at Sichuan Normal University, guest professor at Guangdong Food and Drug Professional School. His research mainly focuses on pharmacy, public health, drug evaluation, socioeconomics, and current affairs. He holds a PhD from China Pharmaceutical University. Currently he also serves as the chief editor of THE ACADEMIA – a need-based multidisciplinary bilingual journal.

Nepal and China are have formed and continued since time immemorial. Their bilateral exchanges extend to language, culture and the people themselves. The presentation establishes such historical relations through specific examples.
